About us

The Peninsular Senior Citizens Toy Repair Group Inc was formed in 1975.

It was formed with the intention of bringing together Senior Citizens in the community to repair damaged toys and donate them to needy families or children's organisations.

The aims of the group were described as follows.

TO CREATE AN ORGANISATION THAT CAN BE OF GREAT BENEFIT TO THE AREA.

TO PROVIDE AN ACTIVITY FOR SENIORS.

TO BRING PLEASURE AND JOY TO UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN.

TO SUPPORT ORGANISATIONS THAT ASSIST CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS

From an initial donation of $10.00 and six cartons of damaged toys it has grown to membership of 30 volunteers,male and female from a variety of vocations who give up there time on a Wed.morning to clean and repair toys.

We have extensive stocks of spare parts which enable us to repair toys,bikes etc;
